AI-Generated Design Notice

Community models on Orca may be generated or modified with AI. Users should review this notice carefully before ordering, downloading, fabricating, assembling, selling, or using any DIY file package.

AI output needs review

AI-generated designs may contain errors, omissions, unsuitable proportions, weak structures, sharp edges, unstable assemblies, hidden stress concentrations, interference between parts, or other safety hazards. The design may not have received complete manual engineering verification. Dimensions, tolerances, materials, load paths, strength, stability, safety, ergonomics, and assembly details should be reviewed by the user or a qualified professional before fabrication or use.

No safety or fitness guarantee

Orca does not guarantee that any AI-generated design is safe, manufacturable, assembleable, durable, stable, legally compliant, fit for a specific purpose, or suitable for use by children, consumers, workers, public users, or any other group. Users should independently decide whether a design is appropriate for the project, environment, tools, users, and risk tolerance involved.

Continuous improvement commitment

The Orca team will continue improving model generation, engineering checks, manufacturing guidance, and safety review workflows, and will use best efforts to make designs more practical, safer, and more reliable over time. In the future, Orca aims to work with legally qualified and compliant manufacturing partners to provide users with additional fabrication, quality, and safety support where available.

Manufacturing and assembly risks

Manufacturing, cutting, printing, machining, sanding, heating, finishing, bonding, fastening, and assembly can involve injury risks, equipment risks, fire risks, chemical exposure, dust, fumes, sharp tools, high temperatures, moving machinery, and workshop hazards. Orca and the Orca team are not responsible for injuries, losses, failed fabrication, damaged equipment, damaged materials, or assembly accidents arising from manufacturing or assembly. Users should follow manufacturer instructions, workshop rules, protective equipment requirements, and local safety practices.

Materials, process quality, and suppliers

Material selection, manufacturing method, tolerances, surface treatment, fasteners, adhesives, coatings, heat treatment, layer orientation, infill, machining accuracy, and supplier workmanship can affect final quality and safety. Orca does not guarantee material performance, manufacturing quality, supplier output, dimensional accuracy, structural capacity, or service life. Users should confirm all material, process, quality, inspection, and testing requirements with the manufacturer, workshop, engineer, or material supplier.

Parameter changes and use risks

AI-generated designs plus user parameter adjustments may create geometry that is difficult to manufacture, assemble, inspect, repair, or use. Changes to size, thickness, holes, joints, load-bearing parts, moving parts, clearances, connection details, or assembly order may make a design unsafe, unstable, non-compliant, or impractical. Orca aims to improve design quality, but cannot guarantee that every generated variation will work in the real world.

Local laws and regulated use

Use of a design may be affected by the laws, regulations, standards, certification rules, import and export controls, product safety rules, consumer protection rules, workplace safety rules, building codes, electrical rules, toy safety rules, medical or food-contact requirements, and intellectual property laws of the user's country or region. Orca does not provide legal, engineering, compliance, or certification advice. Users are responsible for determining and complying with all applicable local requirements before manufacturing, distributing, selling, importing, exporting, or using any design. Orca must not be used in any way that is illegal in the user's location, the manufacturing location, the shipping destination, or any other applicable jurisdiction.

Prohibited and unsafe designs

AI systems can behave unpredictably. Orca must not be used for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, unsafe, or rights-violating purpose, and must not be used for dangerous-goods design or any design that may violate law, safety rules, platform policy, or public interest, including firearms, weapons, weapon parts, explosive devices, hazardous chemicals, harmful tools, unsafe pressure vessels, devices intended to injure people, or designs intended to bypass legal, security, export-control, certification, or safety controls. If such content appears, users should stop using the design and report it to [email protected]. Orca and the Orca team firmly oppose using AI for illegal weapons, dangerous goods, or any harmful activity, and will use best efforts to control the AI system and reduce generation of related designs.

User responsibility

By downloading or using a model package, the user acknowledges responsibility for reviewing, testing, manufacturing, assembling, modifying, labeling, distributing, and using the design safely and lawfully.
