Plank Chair

A plank dining chair reduced to its essentials: a single wide seat panel, four straight legs, and one backrest panel. Legs pass through slots cut into the seat panel and lock into the chair via mortise-and-tenon at the seat — no screws, no glue, no metal. The proportions are sized for everyday dining (seat ~450 mm high, ~400 mm wide). Adjustable parameters expose seat dimensions, leg thickness, backrest height and tenon geometry, so the same model scales from a kids' chair to a tall counter chair.
