Ladder-Back Chair

A ladder-back chair: the two rear posts run tall — past the seat plane — and carry a row of horizontal back slats between them, giving the silhouette of a ladder. Front legs are shorter and meet only the seat. The wide gap between slats keeps the chair visually light despite the tall rear structure.
